Mark is a native of Huntsville, AL where he attended Huntsville City Schools. He graduated from Johnson High School and then later joined the United States Navy. He served his country for several years prior to receiving an honorable discharge. Upon Mark’s return to Huntsville, he enrolled at Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University, at Normal, Alabama where he played football for 4 years. Mark completed his studies at Alabama A&MU with an undergraduate degree in Business Management. Mark later earned his Master of Business Administration Degree from Kaplan University with a concentration in Marketing. Mark currently owns Paws up Mobile Grooming and Smash the Mark. Mark continued to purse his love for the game of football by coaching for a total of 12 years to include: Pop Warner, Middle School, High School, and 7V7. Mark is married to Robin Drake, Esq., who is also a Huntsville native with three amazing sons. Jordan is 24 (United States Air Force), Mark Jr. is 18 (256 Family Alum/Howard University), and Julius Carter is 5 years old and spends most of his day with his grandparents.
