Cheering has been a passion of mine since I was five years old. I was fortunate to cheer on a full scholarship at Northwest Shoals Community College from 2009 to 2011. I later went on to earn my Master of Science degree in Materials Engineering from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB).
But for me, cheerleading has always been about more than just chanting on the sidelines. It’s about empowering young girls to find their voices, teaching them to jump high not only in stunts but in life—toward their goals and dreams. Cheerleading builds confidence, promotes teamwork, and fosters leadership.
As a coach, my mission is to use the sport to teach life skills that will benefit my athletes long after they leave the mat. I strive to create a positive, growth-minded environment that encourages every girl to be her best self—on and off the field.
