Trench Work offers offensive lineman training during the off season for middle school, high school, and college athletes. Trench Work’s mission is the development and progression of offensive lineman through specialized skill and development training.

Kendrick Rogers, Sr

Meet the Trainer

Coach Kendrick Rogers, Sr is the owner and founder of Trench Work founded in 2017.

As a player, Kendrick was a four-year high school varsity player at Mattie T. Blount High School. A four-year starter at Alabama A&M University (AAMU), Kendrick was one of top offensive tackles in the Southeastern Athletic Conference (SWAC), Preseason All-SWAC selection, First-Time All-SWAC, and a Black College Football All-American. Coach Rogers was the first player in AAMU to play in the Blue-Gray All-Star game, the second player in AAMU history to play in the Senior Bowl, and the first player in AAMU history to be invited to the NFL combine. Coach Roges played four seasons in the National Football League with the Philadelphia Eagles and Arizona Cardinals and in the NFL Europe league for the Frankfurt Galaxy, where he won a World Bowl Championship in 2003. In 2019, Coach Rogers was inducted into the Alabama A&M Athletic Hall of Fame.

As a high school Offensive Lineman coach at Madison Academy, Coach Rogers has had great success with at least two linemen being named First-Team All-Region and multiple Honorable mentions. As a trainer, Coach Rogers has had numerous players earning accolades as offensive linemen in the North Alabama region and multiple players earning scholarships to play division one football.
