Trench Work is committed to providing top-tier off-season training for offensive linemen at the middle school, high school, and college levels. Our program creates a structured environment where athletes can refine their skills, master advanced techniques, and enhance their football IQ—key elements for success on the field.
Our training program covers multiple facets of offensive line play, including:

Footwork & Hand Placement: Athletes develop proper footwork and hand placement techniques to maintain balance, control, and leverage during gameplay.

Pass Protection & Run Blocking: Emphasis is placed on protecting the quarterback in the pocket and dominating the line of scrimmage in run plays.

Strength & Conditioning: Tailored exercises prepare athletes for the physical demands of the position, ensuring they are game-ready.

By offering specialized training during the off-season, Trench Work ensures offensive linemen remain sharp and continuously improve. Under the guidance of Coach Kendrick Rogers, whose extensive experience and expertise inform every session, athletes receive personalized coaching that enables them to reach their full potential—individually and as part of a team.

Meet the Trainer
Coach Kendrick Rogers, Sr. is the founder and owner of Trench Work, a football training program established in 2017 and built on a lifetime of excellence in the trenches. His football journey began as a standout athlete and evolved into a respected coaching career dedicated to developing the next generation of linemen.
Kendrick was a four-year varsity and All-State two-way player at Mattie T. Blount High School, where he quickly earned recognition for his dominance on both sides of the ball. He continued his success at Alabama A&M University (AAMU), becoming a four-year starter on the offensive line. During his collegiate career, he earned multiple honors, including:

His success propelled him to the NFL, where he played four seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles and Arizona Cardinals. He later competed with the Frankfurt Galaxy in NFL Europe, helping lead the team to a World Bowl Championship in 2003. In recognition of his achievements, Kendrick was inducted into the Alabama A&M Athletic Hall of Fame in 2019.
As a coach, Kendrick brings over 10 years of youth football experience and five years at the high school level, including a successful tenure as the Offensive Line Coach at Madison Academy. Under his leadership, at least 10 linemen earned First-Team All-Region honors, with several others receiving Honorable Mention recognition. His training has helped numerous athletes become top offensive linemen in North Alabama and secure Division I scholarships.
Coach Rogers is also USA Football Heads Up certified, reinforcing his commitment to safe, effective, and technically sound coaching.
Today, through Trench Work and the Lineman Training Academy, Coach Rogers continues to shape disciplined, confident, and fundamentally strong linemen who excel on and off the field.
