requently Asked Questions

Q: What’s included in the registration fees?

A:

  • Football registration includes two uniforms (home & away) and a duffel bag. Helmets and shoulder pads will be provided by the organization. Parents are responsible for ensuring their player has their own cleats, mouthguard, practice jersey, and practice pants.

    • Please note: Helmets and shoulder pads must be returned at the end of the season. A $500 replacement fee will be charged to the parent or guardian if equipment is not returned.

  • All fees also help cover field usage, game officials', and more.

Q: Are fees refundable?

A: No, fees are non-refundable. However, we reserve the right to make an exception upon written request under special circumstances.

Q: Are parents expected to volunteer?

A: Yes. Parents are required to volunteer at least twice during the season, specifically during home games. Volunteer duties may include providing snacks for athletes, helping at the concession stand, working the field chains, or assisting at the gate. Volunteer sign‑ups will be managed through Sports Engine, and the link will be shared in GroupMe.

If you prefer not to volunteer, you may opt out by paying a $100 fee.

Q: Do you offer a discount for families registering multiple athletes?
A. Yes! We are currently offering an Early Bird Registration discount through May 31st.

We also offer multi‑athlete family discounts when registering more than one athlete in the same category:

  • Two Athletes: $50 off

  • Three Athletes: $75 off

Discounts apply when all athletes are registered in the same category (e.g., all tackle football or all cheer).

If you are registering athletes in different categories (for example, one in football and one in cheer), please email 256family7v7@gmail.com and we will apply the correct discount for your family.

Q: What if a family has financial constraints?
A. We never want financial hardship to prevent a child from participating. If your family is facing financial constraints, we offer flexible support options:

  • Fundraiser Options

  • Payment Plans to spread out registration costs

  • Need-Based Scholarships (limited availability)

  • Please reach out to us at 256family7v7@gmail.com or speak with a Director privately. We’re here to help and will work with you to find the best solution for your situation.

Q. Are physicals required?

A. Yes. All athletes must have an up‑to‑date physical on file before participating in the following:

• Football: Full‑pad practice

• Cheerleading: Any stunting and before the first game of the season

A physical must be completed within the last 12 months and signed by a licensed medical provider.

Your athlete may attend practice, but cannot participate in full‑pad football practice or cheer stunting/game‑day activities until the physical is received. Athletes may take part in conditioning and non‑contact drills, but cannot join any padded, contact, or stunting portions of practice.

Q: Do we need to submit birth certificates?

A: Yes. We must have a copy of every athlete’s birth certificate on file to verify age and ensure compliance with league rules. This protects the program in the event any age‑related questions or issues arise during the season.
